Use Walk-In Care only for a condition that requires immediate care but is not life-threatening. The Emergency Department should be used for conditions that are life or limb-threatening.Such as:
- Chest Pain
- Facial Drooping
- Sudden Numbness or Weakness in the Arm or Leg
- Severe Cuts
- Uncontrolled Bleeding
- Vaginal bleeding with pregnancy
- A major fracture that breaks the skin or needs to be reset
