Meghan Vertefeuille
After graduating from Quinnipiac University with my Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies, I started my career working in the emergency department and then transitioned to inpatient OB/GYN. When my husband and I decided to move back to Maine, where I was born and raised, to start our family, I specialized in congenital cardiac surgery, working in the operating room and pediatric intensive care unit as well as managing patients pre- and post-operatively in the office. I gained a love for rural medicine when I spent some time doing in-home risk and wellness assessments in many underserved communities, which has brought me to SVHC!
I hope to use my diverse background in medicine and compassion for healthcare in all ages and settings to bring high quality care to my patients.
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time with my family and two dogs, hiking, traveling, and working on projects around our home!
