Tegan joined the health center in the fall of 2022. Her first degree was in animal medicine, and she worked with animals for over a decade. She later graduated from University of New England in Nursing.
Tegan has primarily worked as a behavioral health RN and behavioral nurse educator, spending the greater part of the last ten years at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine. There, she worked on acute inpatient units in chemical dependency, adult and child psychiatry, and the behavioral emergency department.
Tegan considers herself a partner in wholistic health who supports others on their path to wellness. Her interests include spending time in the woods, herbalism, antiquing, canoeing, fishing, and many creative pursuits! Working at the center has brought her closer to home and Tegan views being in service to her community as a great privilege.
